So what better way to benefit from this wonderful spice than to use it in a green smoothie.

  1. 25ml (1/2 cup) coconut milk
  2. 25ml (1/2 cup) oat milk
  3. Large handful spinach
  4. 1 medium banana, frozen
  5. 1 inch slice fresh pineapple, peeled & cored
  6. 1/2 tsp ground tumeric
  7. 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  8. 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  9. 1 tsp chia seeds (optional)
  1. Blend the coconut milk, oat milk and spinach first until all the green bits have disappeared.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and blend again until smooth.
