Pumpkin Chai Smoothie Bowl

Sometimes, for a change, it’s nice to put your smoothie in a bowl, add some toppings and enjoy it with a spoon!

If you have trouble finding canned pumpkin in your local supermarket you can order it online from Amazon or use pureed squash instead.

Ingredients
  1. 250ml (1 cup) non dairy milk
  2. 4 Tbsp pureed pumpkin
  3. 1 banana (ideally frozen)
  4. 1/2 avocado
  5. 20g (1/4 cup) pecans
  6. 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  7. 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  8. Pinch ground cardamon
  9. Pinch ground ginger
Instructions
  1. Blend all the ingredients together in a high speed blender (I use the NutriBullet).
  2. Pour into a bowl and add your favourite toppings (shredded coconut, chopped nuts, ground flaxseed etc)
