Fruit & Nut Chocolate Bark

Making your own chocolate is a great way to keep your snack healthy.  This homemade chocolate bark is so simple to make and contains all natural and healthy ingredients.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fruit & Nut Chocolate Bark

Ingredients
  • 75g (1/2 cup) coconut oil (solid weight)
  • 2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 Tbsp xylitol
  • Optional extras: nuts, dried fruit, shredded coconut. I used
  • 25g hazelnuts
  • 25g almonds
  • 25g raisins
Directions
  • Place the coconut oil in a saucepan over a low heat. When melted add the cocoa powder and xylitol and whisk until blended. Stir continuously over a low heat until the xylitol has completely dissolved. Remove from the heat and add the nuts & raisins. Place a large sheet of greaseproof paper in a shallow cake tin and pour the mixture in. Place in the fridge or freezer until set then break into pieces. Store in the fridge.
